Saint Malo
Distance: 1h30
The Corsair City cultivates its sailing image, which makes it be part of the label "France Station Nautique". It is therefore logical that Saint-Malo is the scene of many great events such as “la Route du Rhum”, the Transatlantic race Québec - Saint-Malo, every four years.

At 5 km the 'Ile aux pies' (blackbird island) is a magnificent place to walk, bike or fish. La Gacilly
Distance: 8 km
Not far away (at 8 km) is the mediaeval village 'La Gacilly', a small cite of local artists and the home of Yves Rocher. His botanical gardens are a must see, as are the small winding streets of La Gacilly.
You can rent boats there too, and take them out to the 'Ille au pie' (blackbird island), a nature and bird reservation. (we highly recommend this outing!)
Or, if you prefer, just strolling down the streets and having a pancake (and a cider!) at one of the quaint little 'creperies' , or having a drink at Yves Rocher's cafe (situated in an old water mill at the heart of La gacilly) after visting the local artists at their shops is not a bad way to spend a day!
In the summer La Gacilly hosts one of the biggest outdoor expositions of photo's in france attracting visitors from around the world.

The megalithic's of Saint Just 35
Distance: 4 km
Next door to us (at 5 km) you'll find the megalithic site 'des landes de Cojoux' : one of the most important megalithic sites of europe. Dated older than -5000 bc you can pass days wandering around the different monuments, from standing stones to tombs.
At the village of Saint-Just you'll find 'La maison Nature et Megalithes' where you can find all the information there is about these mysterious stones. Also they'll be able to give you a map with all the best walks to take you around.
A fun activity to do there with children is to rent a donkey and to discover the site like that. Happy children certified!
